Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ReelForge (“ReelForge”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use our website at reelforge.aiskillhub.info and the demo-video service offered there (together, the “Service”). ReelForge is operated from India. If you have any question about this policy, email us at support@aiskillhub.info.

1. Data we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details — your email address, your name if you provide it, and a securely hashed password if you sign up with email and password. We never store your password in readable form.
  • Google sign-in — if you choose “Sign in with Google”, Google shares your name, email address, profile picture and a Google account identifier with us. We do not receive your Google password or access to your Gmail, Drive or other Google data.
  • Demo content — the URLs, step descriptions, selectors, typed values, voice choice and demo name you submit to render a video, and the resulting video file. Anything you type into a step (for example a demo username) is part of this content, so please use test accounts rather than real credentials.
  • Done-for-you requests and support messages — your email address, app URL, notes, and anything you send us by email.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address and request data — your IP address, browser user-agent and request timestamps, used for rate limiting, abuse prevention and security logs.
  • Usage records — which plan you're on, how many demos you've rendered and their status, so we can apply plan limits.

Payment information

Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number or security code. Stripe shares with us limited billing information such as your email, a customer ID, subscription status, the last four digits and brand of your card, and your billing country.

2. How we use your data

  • To provide the Service: open the URLs you submit in a browser, generate narration audio, render and deliver your video.
  • To create and secure your account, and to keep you signed in.
  • To manage subscriptions, payments, invoices and refunds.
  • To enforce plan limits, prevent abuse and fraud, and keep the Service secure.
  • To reply to support requests and done-for-you orders.
  • To send essential service emails (for example about your account or billing). We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

We process your data to perform our contract with you, to meet legal obligations (such as tax records), for our legitimate interests in running a secure and reliable service, and, where required, with your consent. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your demo content to train AI models.

3. Retention

  • Rendered videos and demo records are kept for 7 days after rendering and then deleted. Download any video you want to keep.
  • Account data is kept while your account is open and deleted within 30 days after you ask us to close it.
  • Security and rate-limit logs are kept for a short period, generally no longer than 30 days, unless needed to investigate abuse.
  • Billing records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use a single first-party session cookie to keep you signed in. It is strictly necessary and is not used for tracking. Your light/dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage and never sent to us. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party ad trackers or cross-site tracking pixels. Stripe and Google set their own cookies on their own pages when you use checkout or Google sign-in, under their privacy policies.

5. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run ReelForge, and only as needed:

  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
  • Google — authentication, only if you use Google sign-in.
  • Text-to-speech provider — the narration text of your steps is sent to a neural text-to-speech service to generate the voice-over audio.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — the servers where the Service runs and your data is stored.

We may also disclose data if required by law or a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users, the public or ReelForge. Some of these providers process data outside India; where they do, we rely on their contractual and security commitments to protect it.

6. Security

We use HTTPS for all traffic, hash passwords, restrict access to production systems, rate-limit requests, and isolate each render in its own browser session. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't submit sensitive personal data or real credentials in demo steps.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) — you may have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • have your data deleted, including closing your account;
  • object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where we rely on it;
  • nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity (DPDP Act);
  • lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@aiskillhub.info from the address linked to your account. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. This email address also serves as the contact for our grievance officer under Indian law.

8. Children

ReelForge is a business tool and is not directed at children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify account holders by email before they take effect.
